unexplainable artistry in over a hundred poems.
Each of the four sections, Obsession, Suppression, Depression,

hatred, death, trauma, and even the art of confusion?

About

they/them/theirs

Cay (Kayla Pellegrini) is a newly established poet and writer. From their hometown Concord, New Hampshire, Cay tripped in love with writing at Christa McAuliffe School in 5th grade. Following then, they started writing simple poems throughout Rundlett Middle School. Cay also began songwriting music and lyrics, which went hand-in-hand with their poetry.

Sometime after graduating Concord High School, their poetry has been featured in the Cape Fear Voices and The Teen Scene, a local newspaper. They also did freelance writing in articles for Leland Magazine and Southport Magazine. On their own time, they post their poetry on multiple social media platforms.

Cay enjoys various genres and styles and loves to experiment with creative writing. Literature and the arts were never-ending forms of self-expression for Cay, and they hope you, the spectator, received representation and recognition from their poetry. Cay thanks you, since Earth is inhabited by choas. There are wordless words that are yet to be investigated.

So write like crazy.

FAQ

A few questions

Who are you?

My name is Cay, though my real name is Kayla Pellegrini. I'm a 20 year old creator based in NYC with my pet betta fish named Cherry. I'm passionate about music, art, writing, fashion, and business.

What are your poems usually about?

My poems mostly consist of sensitive topics, such as mental illness, assault, and social issues. Sometimes I may write poetry that are narrative, or story-like. Other times, my poems are about relationships and friendships.

When and why did you start writing poetry?

I began writing poetry when I was 13 years old in middle school. No figure nor anything else inspired me to write poetry, but rather the curiosity to experiment with a form of creativity and self-expression. Ever since I tried to write poetry, it became a part of me and I never stopped.

Can I have a signed copy of your book?

Of course, please order on my website or DM me on Instagram and I will send a signed paperback copy in the mail. Expected delivery time varies depending on the curtain circumstances.
